We ensured good soundproofing and atmosphere in the tunnel that was refurbished in episode 3, “The tunnel in Egersund", by the amazing team of Adventurous refurbishment.

How do I mute a tunnel?
The acoustics in the tunnel were a challenge, and as a supplier of Eventyrlig uppussing, we played a key role in getting the sound under control in this episode. We carried out acoustic sound measurements and calculations in advance to find out how much damping was needed to create a comfortable indoor environment. In collaboration with the team, we chose creative solutions and selected absorbers from our own range.
Products
Ceilings throughout the tunnel were fitted with EiraTMblack circles (ticks), sizes Ø600 mm and Ø900 mm. These were attached with wire.
Daybed with sound-absorbing back wall FriggTM40 grey which were glued directly to the discs, and FriggTM25 mm as acoustic image with motifs that Halvor chose.
The result was very pleasant sound, fantastic solutions and a project out of the ordinary.
