Want labelling of sound conditions in nightclubs
14.5 % of the Norwegian population is hearing impaired and often chooses not to meet in cafés or restaurants due to uncomfortable sound conditions. National Association for the Hearing Impaired believes that nightlife venues with good acoustics and low noise levels should be labelled, in the same way that they are assessed by the Norwegian Food Safety Authority on hygiene.
The Norwegian Acoustics Centre has helped many in the industry to improve acoustic conditions. Which in turn leads to increased customer satisfaction. "It's a small investment for the pubs - but the benefits are huge. We experience the difference every week.
