Soundproofing of a functionalist property in Oslo
11. September 2017
A new and beautiful functionalist house became almost uninhabitable due to too much reverberation. With only hard surfaces, the sound waves bounced around the house and no one could "rest".
In addition to the rooms shown here, adjustments have been made in the music room, staircase and basement room. Prior to the adjustment, sound measurements, calculations and a plan for placement were carried out. It was also decided which absorbers would do the job best in terms of effect and aesthetics. The end result was good and customised acoustics in all rooms. A house the family can find peace and live well in.
The absorbers used are EiraTM 40 plus grey FriggTM 25.
